Join us for a viewing of the largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. This powerful, communal worship experience took place at the Kansas City Convention Center on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

The Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray lead the worship. She is the ninth president of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). She has served as lead minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix from 2008 to 2017. She previously served as minister of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Youngstown, Ohio, where she was a leader in congregation-based community organizing efforts, and served as intern at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, Tennessee. After leading the UU response to Arizona’s anti-immigrant laws in 2010, she became lead organizer for the Arizona Immigration Ministry and a key organizer of the 2012 Justice General Assembly. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Harvard Divinity School. She lives with her husband, the Rev. Brian Frederick-Gray, and their nine-year-old son, Henry.

Each year a talented group of choral singers perform at the Sunday Morning Worship (including our own Fran Levin) for the General Assembly audience.

Come anytime between 10:30-11:00 a.m. for coffee and and socializing or stay after the service!

Sunday School is available for children with a Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman’s book, “Spirit Play” as the primary resource. We structure the morning based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.
